Missions and Functions


• Plan, develop, and implement projects using Multimedia Technologies within the scope of the Ministry of Security.

• Participate in software development projects, providing advice and suggestions for the use of multimedia technologies to enhance functionality and versatility of information systems.

• Provide support and training in Multimedia Technology to the areas of the General Directorate of Informatics.

• Assist the Ministry of Security's departments in the development and implementation of presentations or exhibitions of institutional relevance.

• Participate in research activities, meetings, conferences, and technology dissemination events within their field of competence.

• Seek, research, and evaluate multimedia technologies that can improve the functionality and versatility of application systems, presentations, exhibitions, and institutional communication.

• Coordinate operational and technical actions with different areas of the General Directorate of Informatics.

• Prepare and submit technological hardware and software needs within their field of competence.

• Prepare and submit training needs within their field of competence to keep the personnel updated on current technologies.

• Assist the development area in the layout and graphic design of systems to improve the user experience and ergonomics for end-users.

• Develop and implement digital and multimedia pieces for use within the Ministry of Security.

• Provide design and editing of digital documents.

• Develop and implement digital presentations for use within the Ministry of Security.

• Participate in research activities, meetings, conferences, and technology dissemination events within their field of competence.

• This area addresses a wide variety of graphic or visual communication needs for all types of clients within the Ministry

These include:

  • Design of shields, pins, or other identifying elements
  • Design of vehicle graphics
  • Design of banners
  • Design of manuals, reports, or other editorial pieces
  • Design of occasional brochures
  • Design of frontages or signs for offices
  • Design of medals or awards
  • Design of diplomas for graduates or courses
  • Design of educational infographics
  • Design of PowerPoint or animated presentations
  • Printing or adjustments to graphic orders
  • Adaptation of institutional image to any required piece
