Missions and Functions
• Organize a contingency plan to respond to any eventuality that requires the suspension of normal system operations.
• Define, plan, and coordinate the management and implementation of technology infrastructure according to the needs of the organization.
• Participate, on behalf of the Ministry, in meetings, conferences, projects, plans, and programs related to the subject.
• Interact with municipal, provincial, national, and international organizations to establish secure mechanisms for the exchange of information in a safe and efficient manner.
• Coordinate actions related to the management of the various data networks owned by the ministry.
• Coordinate actions related to the management of the Data Centers owned by the ministry.
• Promote ongoing research and training in the development of new technologies in the field to evaluate their application within the Ministry.
• Advise the General Directorate of Informatics on matters related to new information technologies.
• Facilitate the process of evaluating, managing, and implementing new technologies that are useful for improving the functionality and versatility of the organization's missions and functions.
