Missions and Functions
•Provide on-site technical assistance to offices in the Central Building and decentralized dependencies for the repair of computer equipment.
•Receive computer equipment from all departments and manage dispatch.
•Repair computer equipment from all departments, including operating system installation, office software and antivirus updates, backup management, and subsequent dispatch.
•Coordinate with different IT equipment suppliers for equipment reception and warranty service. This involves receiving the corresponding purchase order or supply order, verifying its accuracy, checking the received items' condition, and systematizing them for better control before subsequent delivery.
•Manage warranty service, while it is in effect. This area is responsible for coordinating, along with the service provider company, the repair or replacement of faulty items belonging to both centralized and decentralized departments of the Ministry.
•Carry out logistics related to the mobilization of equipment between existing storage facilities and to/from this department. This includes delivering, preparing, or repairing equipment and maintaining better control and organization.
•Monitor and process IT equipment requests from different requesting departments. If the equipment is deemed unusable or faulty, the department that sent the equipment is suggested to submit it to the IT Workshop Area of the General Directorate for repair or to obtain a report on the impossibility of repair for further processing of its removal.
•Deliver computer equipment to various destinations throughout the province (approximately 2020 dependencies) under the Informatic System, generating a remittance with detailed information about the delivered equipment, destination department, personnel receiving and delivering the items.
•Address administrative and technical inquiries over the phone and/or in person.
•Respond to various thematic files and expedite them.
•Update the Management System in real-time according to new requirements from the Area, generating new functionalities. This is done to track and manage tasks related to Purchase Orders, Supply Orders, stock control, statistics, products by departments, equipment reception, and delivery.
•These tasks are performed on the ground floor of the General Directorate of Informatics and Communications and in different warehouses located within the ministry.
